Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 7, 2026

1. Overview

This Privacy Policy applies to the Mind of Granite application, registered as "mindofgranite" (the "App"). It explains, in plain language, what we collect, why, and your choices. We collect as little as we can to run the mindofgranite App and the Council.

2. What we collect

3. Payments

Purchases are handled by Stripe. Stripe processes your card details directly; we never see or store your full card number. Stripe's own privacy policy governs that processing.

4. Cookies

We use minimal cookies needed to operate the site and remember your session. We do not run third-party advertising trackers.

5. Third-party services

We rely on a small number of providers to operate: Stripe (payments), our hosting/CDN provider, the social platforms where we publish, and AI providers used to generate content and the Council's responses. Each handles data under its own policy.

6. How we use and share data

We use your data only to provide and improve the service. We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the providers above as needed to operate, or where required by law.

7. Data retention

We keep the decision you submit and any generated ruling only as long as needed to provide the service, then delete or anonymize it. You can ask us to delete your data at any time.

8. Instagram comments and messages

When you comment on one of our Instagram videos, we may reply to you publicly and send you a private message. We never message anyone who did not comment first. To do that we store your comment's id, your Instagram user id and username, your comment and our replies. We use this only so we don't answer the same comment twice. We keep it for 90 days, never sell or share it, and delete it sooner on request: see our data deletion instructions.

9. Children's privacy

Mind of Granite is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

10. Your rights

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data — just email [email protected]. Step by step: data deletion instructions.

11. Changes

We may update this policy; the "last updated" date above reflects the current version.
